Living on the seafront on the Wirral peninsula, with views across to Wales and close to the two dynamic cities of Liverpool and Chester, there is no end of inspiration right on my doorstep.

My photography reflects the diversity of my surroundings. Whilst the natural landscape acts as a stimulating backdrop, I also love to take photographs of people interacting with their landscape, both urban and rural. Likewise, I enjoy the juxtaposition of clean, modern architecture, contrasted with the beauty of urban decay.

In terms of style, I am drawn to strong graphic, almost sculptural,  shapes and textures.  Much of my work is abstract, focusing on line and form, both in black and white and vivid colour. I have recently started to work with digital brushes to turn my photographs into artworks with a nod to surrealism, which I call Dreamscapes.

I am an Associate of the  Royal Photographic Society (ARPS) and sell and exhibit my work locally and online.
